We are pleased to introduce *Didaktik des Hebräischen* (DdH) —the first German-language journal dedicated to the teaching of the Hebrew language.
DdH publishes scholarly articles on subject-specific pedagogy, short notes, and reviews for anyone who teaches Hebrew in schools or at the university level: ranging from classroom practices and teaching materials to issues in teacher education.
Particular emphasis is placed on the teaching of Hebrew throughout its approximately 3,000-year history—from the Bible to the present day.
The first issue is available online. Contributions may be submitted on an ongoing basis.
