Event Management

The Heidelberg University of Jewish Studies (HfJS) is not only a place of academic exchange, but also a lively center for events with a Jewish, interdisciplinary and socially relevant focus. The HfJS event management team coordinates and supports a wide range of formats - from academic conferences, symposia and lectures to cultural programs and public discussion series.

Our events bring together international academics, students, cultural practitioners and the interested public. The aim is to create space for dialog, education and encounters - within the university and beyond.

Our event management tasks include

• Planning, organizing and implementing academic and public events
• Supporting the conception and implementation of conferences, workshops and festive events
• Communication with speakers, guests and cooperation partners
• Technical support and in consultation with public relations (invitations, program flyers, web presence, etc.)
