Research Colloquium: The Enemy of (My) Enemy ...
In her talk, Niusha Hajian explores how non-dominant political and ethnic groups in Iran have conceptualized and continually rearticulated their perspectives on Middle Eastern conflicts and foreign policy since the 1979 revolution. Moving away from state-centered approaches, the project shifts its focus to alternative political and intellectual currents within the post-revolutionary era.
About the Speaker: Originally trained as an architect and urban historian before shifting her focus to transcultural studies, Niusha Hajian holds a Master of Arts from Heidelberg University and is currently a doctoral researcher in the Research Training Group Ambivalent Enmity.
