Central European Zionism and Jewish-Arab understanding before the founding of the State of Israel
Anja Siegemund's book sheds light on Central European Zionism and the question of Jewish-Arab understanding before the founding of the state of Israel. The focus is on different ideas, political positions and networks between the fin de siècle and 1948, and the author shows how complex the debates about understanding, conflict and coexistence were. The book thus opens up a differentiated view of a central chapter in Zionist history.
