Announcement

In the coming weeks, not only our non-Jewish students will probably need to make a few notes in their calendars:

During the Jewish New Year, Rosh HaShanah, the university will be closed, i.e. on September 23 and 24 (Tuesday & Wednesday).

This also applies to Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement, on Thursday, October 2.

It continues with the first two days of the Feast of Tabernacles, Sukkot, on October 7 and 8 (Tuesday & Wednesday), followed by Shmini Azeret and Simchat Torah, when the university is also closed.

More precisely: At the beginning of Shmini Azeret, i.e. on Monday, October 13, the lectures end at 2 pm, on the following two days, October 14 & 15 (Tuesday & Wednesday) the university will be closed.

If you would like to have everything more compact, please move in this direction.

The following applies to all students and their seminars: On the first day of the semester, lectures end at 2 p.m., the two following days are free.

And with that, we wish everyone a good start to the New Year, Shana tova u'metuka!
