Anti-Israeli Climate in Scientific Institutions

An article in Die Welt analyzes the growing antiIsrael sentiment, which is also affecting Israeli academics in particular, as some international associations are now pro-BDS (Boycott Divest Sanction) - including the new board of the 1300-member Working Group on the Middle East (Davo).

Prof. Dr. Johannes Becke advocates instead for academic freedom and cooperation between all researchers against ideological restrictions that will cast doubt on the credibility of the associations and working group in the future.
