Sukkot Mittweida 2025

23 October 2025 Press Review

"Under Grapes and Citrus Fruit" opened the "Sukkot Mittweida 2025" on the afternoon of October 5 in the Ludwig-Hilmer-Bau of the university with around seventy guests from the Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025, the city and Mittweida University of Applied Sciences. The installation by Berlin-based artist Abie Franklin with oversized fruits floated in front of the large staircase: the etrog - a citrus fruit - and grapes. They symbolize both acidity and sweetness.
