Book Presentation "»Reichsbürger« im Südwesten. Die Akte Ingo K. aus Bobstadt"

History of the Jewish people Lecture Book Presentation

We are looking forward to Timo Büchner, who will present his book “Reichsbürger” im Südwesten. The Ingo K. file from Bobstadt.

The event will be introduced by Rabb. Prof. Dr. Birgit Klein (HfJS Heidelberg) and Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Zimmermann (Head of the General State Archive Karlsruhe with Documentation Center for Right-Wing Extremism).

About the book:

In the early morning of April 20, 2022, the police want to confiscate an illegal weapon belonging to “Reichsbürger” Ingo K. in Boxberg-Bobstadt (Baden-Württemberg). When the SEK tries to open the roller shutter of his patio door, shots are fired from inside the apartment. The Stuttgart Higher Regional Court is convinced that the “Reichsbürger” shot to kill several SEK officers.

The book “Reichsbürger” in the southwest. Die Akte Ingo K. aus Bobstadt, which was published exactly one year after the court ruling, sheds light on the crime and its background. It provides insights into Ingo K.'s dangerous world view and reveals his rapid radicalization during the coronavirus pandemic. The book reveals his right-wing extremist networks and makes it clear how acute the danger of militant “Reichsbürger” is in the southwest. The book was realized with funding from the state of Baden-Württemberg in the form of a scholarship.
