Transfer into practice

In the second phase of the project, argumentation training sessions are designed and conducted with pupils and university students. These sessions aim to equip participants with foundational knowledge concerning democratic discourse, left-wing extremism, the Middle East conflict, antisemitism, and racism. Furthermore, the program seeks to empower young people and young adults to independently identify unilateral narratives and critically deconstruct them both linguistically and in terms of content. The training places a strong emphasis on media literacy as well as fostering critical and empathetic engagement with all parties involved in the conflict.

In addition, a workshop model for teachers, educational professionals and multipliers will be developed in the third phase of the project, with the aim of enabling participants to carry out workshops and argumentation trainings themselves. To support this, a comprehensive handout will be published, focusing in particular on actionable recommendations and practice-oriented strategies for effectively addressing real-life situations encountered in educational settings.
