Didaktik des Hebräischen (Didactics of Hebrew)

Prof. Dr. Golinets and David Bindrim, PhD are pleased to announce that they will soon be publishing their own open-access journal with the title

Didaktik des Hebräischen. Zeitschrift für Theorie und Praxis des Hebräischunterrichts (DdH) (Didacitics of Hebrew. Journal for Theory and Practice of Teaching Hebrew).

The target group of readers and authors are all those who have a practical connection to Hebrew teaching. This can be teachers at Jewish primary and secondary schools, general secondary schools as well as in university teaching. The DdH should be useful both in the theoretical training of teachers and in the practical implementation of teaching.

The DdH is intended to publish scientifically sound, didactic contributions (articles) on the subject of teaching the Hebrew language. People who have a practical connection to this teaching activity, i.e. teachers at any school where Hebrew is taught, as well as university lecturers, can submit articles. The primary focus is on didactic issues, but related topics (such as pedagogy) can also be considered. The scope of the essay is free as long as it is appropriate to the topic in question. Academically reflected lesson plans are also welcome.

Shorter contributions (notes) of a maximum of three pages on special observations or minor didactic notes are also possible.

In addition, reviews of books and e-resources (learning material, videos, etc.) from the journal's thematic area are welcome.

Contributions (unformatted) can already be submitted by e-mail to David Bindrim.
