The subject History of the Jewish People deals with the history and culture of the Jewish people over a period of more than two and a half thousand years

  • from the era of the Second Temple to contemporary history,
  • in its entirety as well as in its manifold manifestations,
  • in continuity and change in the various epochs and spaces.

The Research Colloquium in the Summer Semester

As a showcase for our research, the colloquium offers a forum for dialog between all status groups at our university.


The colloquium will take place on five dates during the summer semester 2026, each Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. s.t. 
Details on the dates, topics and speakers can be found in the attached program. Registration is not required.
