Media Competence in the Context of the Middle East Conflict

Demokratie leben!

You are cordially invited to take part in the launch event of the new research and education project. The project team led by Prof. Dr. Rabb. Birgit Klein and Prof. Dr. Havva Engin's team at Heidelberg University of Applied Sciences are investigating how extremist narratives about the Middle East conflict circulate on social media, how young people come into contact with them and what impact this has on their attitudes.

The event will present the project, which aims to actively combat extremism and anti-Semitism, strengthen democratic values and promote media literacy in this sensitive topic area.
